Q: Let's start with a little about yourself so that we can get to know you?
A: My name is TapsCane, 27, and single.Hobbies include: Star Wars- Collecting films, posters and books, Reading other materials, Weight Training, Ice Hockey, Soccer, Cooking, and some Martial Art.

Q: What's your earliest Star Wars memory?
A: Watching "A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi" on video. I remember wanting to see the films more than once with family and friends. I was captivated immediately by the adventure and today I still have the same passion for the storyline that has been played out in the other Star Wars films, Star Wars Books, and on-line with friends in roleplays.

Q: How and when did you begin to collect Star Wars and what was the first item you purchased?
A: Posters were the first items I wanted and then the Star Wars Books.

Q: Let's say I would hand you one figure right now, what would you want?
A: I know one person who will laugh at this response, but I would like the Yoda figure, though Obi-Wan is a close second.

Q: How do you know Tae Kwon Do Master Sayed Najem?
A: As you might not know, Master Sayed Najem once trained in Alberta before going to Ontario and he represented Canada in the 1988 and 1992 Summer Olympics, receiving medals in both years. Currently, he is in Ontario and teaches there. A friend of mine was competing in the Canadian National Tae Kwon Do Championships in 1992 and we also watched Sayed Najem compete in the event. We had seen Mr. Najem compete years before the championships through other WTF tournaments and met him once through my friend's brief introduction. He was a great tactician in the matches we saw him take part in. Sayed Najem usually came out on top in the events. It is a great pleasure to see one so gifted in his Art form to do so well in his past and present time.

Only one thing to add, if someone is really interested in join a particular Martial Art, please make sure you do the proper research and find out as much information as you can on the Art form before signing up. Not every Martial Art Club is legitimate and belongs to a true rooted tradition. Some Art forms are created by others not wanting to reside in the original Associations or Federations. They broken away from them and started their own organizations with no real foundations.
