#1 Name: Katie Movie: The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Why?: All of the movies so far in the Trilogy are excellent, but I have to say that The Two Towers is my favorite so far. The plot gets more exciting and tense as Frodo ventures deeper into Mordor, Merry and Pippin meet Treebeard, and Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli go to Rohan and fight in the Battle of Helm's Deep. The soundtrack for this movie is amazing! (If you don't own it, get it now!) The special effects are astounding, and you just have to love Gollum's debate. Of course, Legolas also gets some cool moves, what with the horse stunt and shield surfting...**sighs dreamily**but The Two Towers is an awesome movie!
#2 Name: Kristi Movie: Pirates of the Caribbean Why?: Because Pirate are HOTT!! Especially when they're Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom...plus it's got hilarous physical comedy and an awesome storyline.
#3 Name: Jen Movie: Star Wars: Attack of the Clones Why?: Out of all so far AOTC is my favorite, cause it has love, action,Hayden Christensen. And you can see the darkside coming out of Anakin and the love he has for Padme, I can not wait until episode III. It;s going to be just as good, and of course that also had my man Hayden in it,..lol....:D
#4 Name: Amy Movie: Titanic Why?: Cos I love the soundtrack and I think that Leonardo DiCaprio is gorgeous!
#5 Name: Lomylia Movie: LOTR:ROTK Why?: Well, as I expected it (same counts for the books) has the same strengths as the two previous parts + the fact that it goes to a whole other level. The animated sequences are amazing, but the emotional story just takes you away. You actually get the feeling that you are in Middle-Earth, you just know how a character is feeling ... and wel it just makes you cry out of sadness, happiness, ...
#6 Name: Maria Movie: Pirates of the Caribbean Why?: ..Johnny Depp...Orlando Bloom....Hott pirate skeletons--not to mention all the excellant babble about it--yet I believe the first three reasons justify it to be the best!
#7 Name: Nellas Movie: LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring Why?: I personally think FotR is the best of the LotR trilogy; it's so pastoral and beautiful, and the prologue is stunning! It retains more of the classic "Tolkienism" I think.
#8 Name: Ali Movie: Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl Why?: Coz its got Johnny Depp in it... no more reasons needed :-)
#9 Name: Julienne Movie: LOTR: Return of the King Why?: It's the only book i've read of the three and I was excited to see the changes made...fortunately, it offered more drama and better endings...hope to have seen the Faramir-Eowyn part though...just have to wait for the extended edition...

#12 Name: Linda Movie: The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Why?: Actually I think all the movies are awesome, but the third was absolutely the best and the best of all movies I have seen. Every scene in that movie couldnt make my eyes move, because it was breath-taking(lol). Viggo Mortensen is definately one of the reasons to watching it.
#13 Name: Casee Movie: Pirates of the Caribbean Why?: I've always had a special fascination for pirates and so when a pirate movie came out, I got excited. I had never seen Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom in any movie before, which made the experience of Pirates so much more real. Jack Sparrow was...I'm at a loss for words...beyond amazing. I'm really big into movies so I can never pick just one. Someone asks me my favorite and I sit there for hours saying "The Money Pit, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Gone with the Wind...", but now I can really say Pirates is my favorite. I never get tired of it. What a wonderful experience!
#14 Name: Elyse Movie: The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Why?: I know you said 1, but I’m talking about these movies as a whole, not just the individual stories. Peter Jackson and all else who created this movie did such an amazing job, I can’t imagine any one in centuries to come, remaking these movies. The detail and quality is mind-blowing. For instance: It took 18 months to film all three films in a row, however it took 7 years total development. 250 real horses were used. All costumes, weapons, jewelry and set pieces were hand-made and each one unique. (The chain mails used by all characters in the movie were put together by hand, chain by chain.) 48,000 weapons were used. 15,000 costumes were handcrafted. Even the casts underwear was authentic. 100 real locations were used in New Zealand as backdrops. 20, 602 background actors were cast. And not to mention, the cast and acting is incredible, the computer effects are beautiful and the stories (thanks to Tolkien) are inspiring. This is what makes a movie. This is what makes a legend.

#16 Name: Jessia Movie: Troy Why?: I read the Odyssey and the Iliad and so I was really eager to see this film. It told a great story, the action scenes were great and it had a nice love story in it too. Plus I love Orlando Bloom :)
#17 Name: Julia Movie: The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Why?: Oh, the loveliness. I thought it couldn't get any better after TTT, but I was mistaken. I loved Tolkien already, and Peter Jackson made an amazing movie out of it! Sam is truly the best friend anyone could ever have. Orlando wasn't bad also. hehe The battle scenes were awesome and Eowyn kicked butt! I cried so hard through most of it...it was too much when "The End" came on the screen. :) Anyway, I love ROTK!!
#18 Name: Jessica Movie: A Walk To Remember Why?: Because it has Shane West in it! Duh! And he does everything I would want a guy to do for me.
#19 Name: Meiriel Movie: The Phantom of the Opera Why?: Because it's so mysterious and romantic and I wanted to watch it again! I plan to buy the DVD this year^^ But the ending is a little sad.

#21 Name: Shannon Movie: The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Why?: ROTK is, in my opinion, the best of the trilogy. And it's the longest. hehe. Seriously. I love long movies. :-P

#23 Name: Sheryl Movie: V for Vendetta Why?: The acting is superb. The way they set V's sanctuary is just wonderful. Plus, I love all of Hugo Weaving's movies, and this, I think is the best.
