Visit the TheFanlistings.org! This is the one and only Fanlisting for "Edmond and Mercedes" of The Count of Monte Cristo. After I saw this film I was struck by the love between these two characters. It was so beautiful, and yet so tragic. They make such a wonderful couple, and they care for one another so deeply. Both Edmond and Mercedes had gone through so much pain in the sixteen years they were separated from each other. But for reasons of which they did not know, it was all part of God's plan. Their loved endured and they were brought back together again. "In a Kiss" comes from the quote by Mercedes: "No, He is in everything. (meaning God) Even in a kiss..". I decided this was a great name after my mom had suggested it because everything Edmond and Mercedes felt for each other was definitely shown "In a Kiss", and because the scene with them by the window is one of my favorites.
